How to Brew

For the best-tasting coffee, grind your beans immediately before brewing to preserve the essential oils. Use 2 level tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water, and follow the instructions for your coffee maker.

To keep your coffee fresh and delicious, squeeze out the excess air and then reseal the pouch. Store in a cool, dark place—but do not refrigerate!

Different methods of brewing require grinding your coffee to different degrees of fineness:

  • Percolator—coarse
  • French Press—coarse
  • Drip Coffee Maker (flat bottomed filter)—medium
  • Drip Coffee Maker (cone filter)—fine
  • Espresso Machine—very fine
